NawfalMotii79/PLFM_RADAR ↗, PLSQL, Last commit Jun 17, 2026
The repository holds schematics, PCB layouts, FPGA firmware, and a Python desktop interface for AERIS-10, a 10.5 GHz phased array radar built around pulse linear frequency modulated chirps. Two builds are documented. The 3 km version uses an 8 by 16 patch array, and the 20 km version uses a 32 by 16 slotted waveguide array. Beam steering is electronic, plus or minus 45 degrees in azimuth and elevation. An XC7A50T FPGA handles pulse compression, Doppler FFT, MTI, and CFAR before detections reach the interface, which plots them on a map corrected by GPS and IMU readings. Hardware is released under CERN-OHL-P and the software under MIT. The authors mark the project alpha with features still in progress, and aim it at researchers, drone developers, and SDR builders.
