Tamron Lens Control is a Linux-only command called tlc that reads and changes settings on compatible Tamron lenses, aiming to cover on Linux what the official Tamron Lens Utility offers. The lens connects straight over USB: tlc devices lists what is attached and tlc info reads one, and a serial number or port picks a lens when several are plugged in. It is written in Rust and installs through cargo or as a portable binary from the GitHub releases. The author states plainly that the project has no affiliation with Tamron and that GPLv3 carries no warranty, in a disclaimer that jokes about the lens leaving the solar system. This is early work, at a couple of dozen stars.
