CCTV Camera Database

3,444 camera models from 76 brands, from cheap consumer WiFi units up to enterprise PTZ domes and thermal imagers, each stored as a validated JSON file and compiled into one dataset as JSON and CSV. Vendor spec sheets live in scattered PDFs, retailer pages and paywalled industry databases, so comparing across brands used to mean retyping them, and this repository normalises the format instead. A site at cctv-database.com searches, filters and sorts the same data and hands over ready-made Frigate configs, while demo.html plus cameras.json runs the viewer offline with no build step. Everything is CC0, with the repository as the source of truth and the website as a convenience. Coverage per field is published in the README and is not even: environment ratings on every model, field of view on 92 percent, stream details on 53 percent, dimensions on half.
