OpenClaude is a terminal-first coding agent that talks to OpenAI-compatible APIs, Gemini, GitHub Models, Codex, Ollama and other backends without changing how you work. Prompts, tool calls, sub-agents, MCP servers, slash commands and streaming output stay the same whichever provider sits behind them, so switching models is a configuration change rather than a new tool to learn. Written in TypeScript and distributed on npm.
