A typical Node or Python MCP server eats 200MB of RAM and needs one to three seconds just to wake up. mcp-stama ships as a single static Rust binary with no runtime dependencies and claims under 10MB of RAM with sub-millisecond tool responses. Flags such as --install-claude and --install-cursor write the editor config for Cursor, Claude Desktop and Windsurf on their own, and the repository is Apache-2.0. Worth noting that the performance table in the README is the author's own measurement and the project is still at a very early stage.
