Marin

Marin is a research program, software platform and community organised around training large language models. Its scope runs the whole way through data curation, transformation, filtering, tokenization, pretraining, posttraining and evaluation, rather than stopping at a released checkpoint. What distinguishes it is the commitment to publish the process knowledge behind the models, not only the artifacts and infrastructure. Open development is stated as the core value.
