jit finds the plaintext secrets on a Mac, in .env files, ~/.aws/credentials, shell exports and .npmrc tokens, and moves them into a local encrypted vault gated by Touch ID. The files are rewritten to decoys so existing tools keep working, and the real value appears only in memory, for the specific process that asked, after a biometric prompt. Written in Go, free and local-first; currently macOS only on Apple Silicon and still in development.
