opa334/Dopamine ↗· C· MIT· Last commit 1d ago
An open source jailbreak for iPhones and iPads, covering iOS 15 through the 26.0.1 range, with the exact ceiling set by the chip in the device. It is semi untethered: the phone boots normally, and after each restart you reopen the Dopamine app to switch the jailbreak back on.
It is also rootless, meaning only part of the filesystem is writable. The system partition is left alone, but the trade is that a tweak will not run unless it has been rebuilt for rootless. Installation brings a package manager along, either Sileo or Zebra, and that is where tweaks and repositories get added; on beta iOS builds the installer has to go through TrollStore instead. Apple's own position is that jailbreaking strips out built-in security layers and can affect stability and support. Development is by opa334 and a set of contributors under the MIT license, with builds distributed from the project's own site.
