Capsule

Capsule packs an app's HTML interface, media and local SQLite database into one .capsule file that can be sent over WhatsApp, AirDrop or email like a PDF. Whoever opens it gets the app with its data already inside, and anything they add is saved back into the same file rather than to a server or an account. Apps can be generated from a prompt, either with the built-in AI agent or by building in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and changed later through prompts or MCP coding tools. Capsules use standard HTML and CSS, so the code and data stay with the user. The host player is free for macOS, Windows and Linux, and a browser preview exists but cannot open or save files on the computer. iOS and Android versions are listed as coming soon.
