This repository holds the original Apollo 11 Guidance Computer source, the code that ran in both the command module and the lunar module during the landing. It is a preservation project first: the complete codebase, plus documentation that shows what the programming techniques of the era actually looked like under those constraints. Developers curious about early computing, historians and space enthusiasts all come to it for the primary text. Nothing here is meant to be built and shipped; the value is in reading what was written.
