Yap

Yap is a free, open-source dictation tool for macOS built on Apple's own Speech framework, which means transcription happens on the machine in front of you and your voice never leaves it. There are no models to download, no cloud service in the path, no API key to paste and no account to create. Writers drafting out loud, students catching a lecture and anyone who talks faster than they type are the obvious users. Install it and start speaking.
