OpenClaw is built for a single operator rather than a team. It runs on your devices and reaches you through the messaging channels you are already in, connecting models, tools, channels and optional companion apps through one Gateway. The installer covers macOS, Linux and Windows and provisions a supported Node.js runtime when one is missing. Owning your own data is stated as a design premise rather than a setting.
