tare

You hit a usage limit and cannot tell what spent it. tare answers that from records you already have: Claude Code keeps a log of every request it makes, and tare teaches it to read its own logs so you can ask in plain English. It reports where tokens went, diagnoses which limit you hit, and does the accounting locally, so nothing leaves the machine. The name is the weight of the container, subtracted to find what is inside, which is roughly what the tool does with re-sent context. Python, MIT.
