Mole

Mole is a deep-research agent that runs in the terminal as a single static binary: it decomposes a question, searches, reads sources, extracts claims with quotes, and writes a cited answer. Every model call is reserved against a spending budget before it happens, and the project claims 0% overshoot across its test corpus; quotes that do not appear verbatim in their source are discarded. It uses your own API keys, speaks MCP so a coding agent can drive it, and is Apache-2.0 licensed, written in Go.
