Developers who keep more than one Claude Code account on Linux have to log back in every time they switch. Claude-account holds each account in its own isolated slot, so moving between them no longer means re-entering credentials. Freelancers splitting work by client, or anyone running a personal account alongside a team one, are who it was written for.
