BillAI Bass takes the iconic Big Mouth Billy Bass and rebuilds it as a real-time voice assistant. A Raspberry Pi 5 does the work, running Strands BidiAgent with Amazon Nova 2 Sonic so the thing listens and answers on the spot. Functionally it overlaps with any smart speaker; what changes is that the answer comes out of a fish. It will absolutely end up impressing house guests, but the root of it is a tinkerer who got bored of ordinary voice assistants.
