Be the ChatBOT

Be the ChatBOT puts you on the other side of the chat window, answering prompts instead of writing them. A round opens with a user's message, and you reply in text or by generating an image; the conversation so far then goes to a language model, currently Gemma 4 26B, which role-plays that user's next turn. Each simulated user carries a hidden background and a set of memories the AI supposedly kept from earlier chats, and the exchange runs until they leave, happy or not.

Every reply comes back with a reaction. A pleased user pays points, a resolved chat pays a bonus on top, and a frustrated one costs a segment of the Vibes meter that starts at five. Drain it to zero and the run ends with you replaced by the next model version. The prompt bank was built to resemble real traffic: topics follow the OpenAI and David Deming study on how people use ChatGPT, and writing styles come from sorting 500 WildChat prompts into ten buckets. It runs on a Rust backend with a Vite frontend.
